FAIR – For a new recognition of skills informally and non-formally developed in the fair trade sector – is a project financed by the European Commission within the Leonardo da Vinci community programme – second phase 2000-2006 – Measuring Reference Material.

This project is three years long (2004-2007), and is coordinated by ASTER soc. cons. p.a. and promoted by CTM Altromercato.

The foremost aim of this project is to enhance the existing processes and instruments within educational and lifelong learning policies, and to establish, in collaboration with the actors in the educational-formative organisations, indicators that, on one hand, enhance the whole range of formal, non-formal and informal learning methods, and, additionally, also acknowledge non-formal and informal learning apart from formal qualifications through a higher level of transparency and a better guarantee of quality.
